After months of rumours Ubisoft have officially announced Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla – the game will be officially revealed later today at 4pm UK time.

The game will take place during the age of the Vikings, which was revealed during a livestream featuring artist BossLogic putting together a pretty awesome looking piece of promotional art for the game.

With rumours swirling of an Xbox Event next week, maybe we’ll be seeing gameplay sooner rather than later.

Come back to this page at 4pm to watch the official cinematic reveal trailer!

Update 4:00pm 30/04/2020

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been officially unveiled with the debut cinematic trailer alongside a whole bunch of new information about the game. The game will offer ‘a captivating Viking experience’, taking place within the backdrop of England’s Dark Ages.

Players will be able to choose to play as a male or female Eivor, alongside customisation of hair, tattoos, war paint, gear and more. Combat decisions and dialogue choices will influence the game’s dynamic world.

Romances, mythological and RPG elements make a return from Origins and Odyssey. Players will have a Viking village hub which will be their ‘home’. The game is being developed by the team behind AC Origins & Black Flag.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will launch in 2020 on Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and for Windows PC exclusively on both the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store.
